Gilbert Days is a week-long celebration of Gilbert’s rich western heritage coming November 13-22, 2009. The celebration kicks off with the re-enactment of the historical Pony Express ride. The whole family is invited to participate in the ride and other family-friendly activities.
The Gilbert Days Parade takes place Saturday morning and is a dazzling spectacle for the whole family. Immediately after the parade is the After Parade Party at the Gilbert Town Square complete with food, entertainment, shopping, and a Carnival.
Next, are the showcase events for local cowboys and cowgirls to participate in the Gilbert Days Jackpot Roping and the Competition Barrel Racing.
The Gilbert Promotional Corporation is proud to host the Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association Finals Rodeo as the Gilbert Days Rodeo.
Bring the whole family to watch athletes from around the country compete for national titles right here in Gilbert, AZ. Take a spin on the rides at the carnival. Let the youngin’s compete in the Lil’ Dudes Rodeo before each GCPRA Rodeo Finals performance. Grab a savory meal from our food vendors. Then take a seat in the rodeo arena and enjoy the ride!
